Making lemonade
Despite back-to-back 3-5 days in round 2, a strong showing on day 1 still has us in the black vs. the number, at a clip of 26-22.
Although I had Georgetown going to the Final Four, I still have my championship game, UNC over UCLA, in play, and my other regional champ, Texas, lives on.
I lost sweet sixteeners Pitt, UConn, Duke, Georgetown, and Notre Lame, but Pitt and Georgetown are the only two I had going past this round.
Regardless of how my predictions panned out, the stretch of time yesterday afternoon when CBS was switching between G-Town/Davidson and Tennessee/Butler with seemingly every dead ball, and blowing through scheduled stationbreaks with wreckless abandon, was as good as it gets. It was so good that by the time they ran back-to-back-to-back-to-back commercial breaks to make up for it after the games went final, I actually appreciated the downtime.

22 wins in round one. 11 wins in round two. Final Four still intact. Missing two teams in the Elite Eight. Who cares. Duke and G'town are gone!
