Monday's Midday Musings - Nice to see McGinley's group had a chance to celebrate today.

- The Buckeyes play UNC-Ashville and 7'-7" center Kenny George on Tuesday evening. There will be more people in our fantasy baseball draft lobby than there will be in the upper deck of the Jeromenstein Center for that game tomorrow night.

- Which reminds me, the fantasy baseball draft is tomorrow, Tuesday, March 18, at 8pm EDT. (7pm CDT, 02:00 Wednesday B) Will FC, The 1, AMG, mistertrendy and McCampus be participting?

- One week from tonight, the Boss rocks the Jeromenstein. What if his concert bumps a potential NIT game vs. Cal to St. John Arena? Probably won't happen, but it would be cool. Looking forward to joining the Mayor, The 1, Puffy Coat, Evil One, etc. to rock out to Last to Die for a Mistake, Born in the USA, Youngstown, and other patriotic songs.

-As pointed out by McCampus at lunch, Irish Tenor Ronan Tynan and his ears will be performing at the Ohio Theatre this weekend. No word on whether he'll sing the traditional "God Bless America" or the Barack Hussein Obama-endorsed "God Damn America." I'm still looking for the chapter and verse that says God Damn America.

Had a meeting at the grocery store with Dr. and Mrs. Dr. last evening. I think he is going to pick my team if I can't make it online.

That is sooooo Chicago... meeting with people in a grocery store.

Sounds good. I would again suggest looking at the auto draft option and ranking anybody you really want early.

I had oneof the stranger St. Patty's Day expeiences last night at an an "Irish" bar in Istanbul, named after an American, listening to Irish folk music with a bunch of Americans and Turks, drinking $15 guinnesses and - of course - doing an Irish jig and balancing beers on the top of my head while people took pictures. Wow, that was a long sentence.
