A quick look at the tourney, and a few early thoughts:
- Only 1 Big 11 team will make it out of the first round; Wisconsin, who will lose in round 2 to USC. Worst year for the Big 11 ever.
- I like Clemson, Notre Dame, and Xavier to make deep runs, each springing a major uset along the way. I wanted to pick Xavier to make the final 4, as I've been saying all season, but I'm just not sure they can beat Duke AND UCLA.
- Kansas will lose to UNLV.
- Texas/Stanford Sweet 16 game will be one for the ages.
- Final 4? Tennessee, Georgetown, Memphis, UCLA
- Memphis will cut down the nets.
Let's see how remarkably accurate those picks will be, like my 64-of-65 bracket prediction performance. Unlike everyone else, I'll post my amazing picks.

I gotta agree with McGinley on the Big 11 piece. I watched most of the last four games of the tournament and that was some of the worst basketball I have ever seen. Is there anyone in the Big 11 outside of that little white dude from State that can shoot a jumper? Wisconsin has a chance to advance to the sweet 16, but I wouldn't bet on it. UCLA, Tennessee, Memphis and Georgetown.
UCLA over Georgetown.
