RISE AND FIRE

Today's the first day of the NCAA Tournament. Awesome day. I WAS the kid in high school with the mini-TV, by the way. It was awesome. Lots of long trips to the bathroom, unexcused absences, etc. I remember in grade school walking home around 2:20 p.m. and seeing the last of the early afternoon games. Did you know that even in the early 1990s, you'd routinely miss the early evening games because coverage didn't start until 8 p.m.? Awesome.

For those living in central Ohio, you won't have to miss a thing (Aerosmith). All the games are on channels 88-91, except that bastardly game that always features Stanford and starts at 5 p.m.

But most of all? I hate that blackass Wesley Snipes.

- The Dr. and I just got off the phone. Yep. (The Godfather is so pissed right now.) And he made a great point. This is the first time since 1991 that neither Ohio State or Cincinnati is in the tournament. He said he's visiting in April or May. Which brings up a good point ... is The Mayor having a spring party anytime soon?
