SOFTBALL
I'm thinking of registering a team for this year's softball season at Berliner Park.
We have three definites: trendy, Art McGregor and the Truth.
I'm not sure we can field a team of 10 guys consistently. Rick Sonbreath is moving to Chicago, Chicken moved to Cincy, McGinley is traveling, The Godfather is umping games, The Mayor is a maybe but likely could only play in a few games, The 1 would be too busy.
We'd need Uncle Fitz, McCampus, Ozzie Canseco, maybe someone I work with, an assortment of Ozzie's friends, etc. It'd be tough sledding but I would like to play because last year I loved playing and then going to Plank's afterward.

Also, new jerseys this year with new numbers.
McCampus has said he's in if we don't have to deal with the same shit as last year. I totally agree with him.
That gives us four. If anyone knows anyone who wants to play, let me know.

McCampus' friend and "solid athlete" also likely is in ... that pushes us to five. Things are looking good!

You can count on Uncle Fitz - I will start training now so my Ichiro speed and my Willy Mo Pena defense will be ready when the season starts on April 18th.
